> P990 alarm when silent is activated

I know in previous P series this was a problem where when the alarm was set and silent mode was set on. The alarm would not make a sound. I find it the same on the P990? Is it just my handset? This is incredibly frustrating as I use my phone as my alarm to wake me up in the morning and obviously I want the phone on silent so it doesn't wake me up
any thoughts on this?

same if the phone is off, but charging. The calendar remiders WILL come on and BUZZ ya. I guess the phone is in some kind of hibernating mode while charging since part of the boot sequences comes on when the charger is connected.

Since the old days with just Ericsson, alarms has been able to start - even when the phone is off, and you removed the SIM... Thats reliability, set an alarm and it Will go off in due time :!: :lol:
