What size should an image be if i want to use it as album art (so it displays when i play an album in media player) i read somewhere that it should be 500*500 pixles but this seems a bit big. what is the optimum size and what directory do i place it in?

i don't know the optimal size but it's definitely not 500 x 500. All you have to do is put the album art in the same map as the album and it will show up in the media player.

Try 150x150 sounds about right to me. Remember reading it on a forum somewhere!
