As someone else has mentioned, O2 have now put the phone back to October. I'm really getting sick of this, it's ridiculous. Apparently it's because they are testing the phone still.

Anyway, I'm slowly easing towards thinking I might go back with Vodafone. I'm not worried about the phone being locked to Vodafone, but I don't want any of the branding on it. I think someone else mentioned that there were no Vodafone stickers or anything on the phone itself (is there any on the back?). I'm guessing that it has the messed up menus and rubbish Vodafone software as well.

Does anyone know if it's possible to flash/debrand these? I've checked websites like the Da Vinci team but they don't even offer debranding for the P910, only unlocking.

The vodafone p990 is not branded on the outside of the phone or box. The firmware is basically normal except the start and turning off screen has a vodafone logo on it. Debranding as far as i know is not possible at the moment on any uiq3 phone.

Well, I looked at a dummy in the Vodafone store today to get an idea of the size. Not half as big as I thought. I asked about the branding and Vodafone haven't touched it really, it's all SE's firmware I was told, there's a Vodafone badge on the bottom where it says P990I normally.
But get this, I asked about tariffs etc and was told I could have the phone for FREE on a 18 month £35 a month tariff!!! With a deal like that I'm certainly tempted.
I'm with Orange at the mo but with rmours of there customer service going down the toilet and moving there call centres abroad I'm tempted to jump the sinking ship.

Yeah the dummy does have a vodafone logo thing at the bottom of the phone. The real ones actually have p990 written on them like the unbranded ones The phone free on that kinda tariff is becoming normal to be honest. Every store has tuff targets this month
