Ok, I've searched the forum and the faq's, but no joy. About 8 months ago I downloaded a third party traffic alert programme from a link in T-zones onto my P910i, with minimal success ( It loaded but didn't function properly with the phone.) so I deleted it. Since then I have lost all gprs capabilities. No MMS, T-zones or Opera browser. I explained my problem to T-mobile tech support, and they sent me the auto config. settings, several times. I have also tried the SE update service on my pc, but it just says that I ''already have the latest version'', and so won't run the update.
The problem doesn't appear to be with the network settings as I can still use Opera through my pc's broadband connection (phone in flight mode and in the cradle) and I still get the blue wedge in the corner of the screen saying gprs is connected.
So the big question is........Is it possible that when I deleted the traffic programme, it took with it a part of the operating system that dealt with gprs? If so, would getting a T-mobile shop to 'Flash' the phone, fix my problem?
In a nutshell. Does Flashing overwrite the entire operating system, making the phone software 'as new'?
Sorry to have rambled on, ( I can hear you...Snoring at the back there!) but I just wanted to set the problem out clearly so ppl wouldn't have to waste their time suggesting things I've already tried.
Looking forward to hearing from you. This has got me tearing my hair out!
