Alright all, I've not received my P990 yet but I've begun work on the OSX theme.

Many will know that I started as a modder for the P-Series but slowly moved into other areas. (See Tracker OSX.SE)

My goal is to create the most complete and simple OSX theme. Many themes seem to 'over do' the OSX look and fail to remember that the key to OSX is simplicity.

It's on V1 and will be fully complete come v3.

At the moment I will need people with P990s to use the theme and let me know if there are any glitches (if possible, please take screenshots).

Did I mess up with a color? Does something look out of place?

V.2 will include updated images and icons.

V.3 will include OSX sounds.

edit: this took me 2 hours. (mainly because I've had to customize images and I needed to change values with trial and error, SE's Preview screen is crap! You change a value and it updates the NEXT section's screenshot, so you have to click around like crazy!)

Works great now.
Looks very nice on the phone aswell =).

I have not found a screenshoot software yet so I used your pictures to explain the first two problems i found -> the bar(see marked pictures) behind the icons dosn't come up on my phone it's still my default bar from the "Tre"-theme there.



I will try it so more during the day and will come back if iI find some more. Keep up the good work!!

i know exactly how u feel when i made the spiderman 3 theme before having the P990 and soon hopefully when i have time i will update it...

gunna try ur theme and will report back
about the bars thats the default for the theme creator which is not the same in the phone

The thing is, it would be great if when you chose the affected area in the theme maker, it would show you what is going to be changed and how it will look in the phone.

I'm sure there will be a few more problems.

Looking at the screenshots, you'll notice that the tab in flip closed mode has white text so it doesn't show.

Does anyone know 'which' option to change to change that tabs colour. I simply cannot find it.

Great work so far Amnesia!

Just one opinion, when browsing the messages (well, sender), the 'highlighted' message name is in text with a blackoutline. IMO, I think the blue highlight bar behind the selected message is enough already, could you possibly try the v2 without the border?

Also, the picture used as the top banner in the theme (for example, in messages, the top of the screen that has the message envelope icon, Messages with drop down menu and the total message count), the image isn't 'continued' (or seemless?) with the image for the main part of the screen. I so hope that makes sense!

At the moment I'm designing this theme blind with no way of seeing how it looks.

As for the seemless part, if you can show me that would be great. I did notice a '1 pixel' variation which makes it look like it's 1 pixel to the left, but if it's more I'd appreciate a pic.
