But I visited a page and sent the settings on the T68 with an SMS but still doesn't work. It fails every time.
Why is that?
Can someone help me?
You have to pay some money so that u can connect via WAP?
I want to get a background on my new T68 and it's been 3 weeks that I'm trying to succeed it but the same old situation every time!
"Failed" , "Failed", "Failed" , "Failed" !!!

wtf?

Cingular won't give them the GPRS settings, but here they are:

1. Go to Data comm
2. Data Accounts
3. Add new account , name is whatever (I use Cingular)
4. APN - wap.cingular
User ID - TCRESDC5RFDX@W3.MYCINGULAR.COM
Password - ZJULDAGEN98810
Password request - no,
allow calls - automatic, IP address - Blank, DNS Address - Blank, Advan
settings - leave as default
5.Go to WAP services
6. Then to WAP settings
7. choose profile 2
8. Rename to Cingular
9. Change Homepage to Call it Home and address is http://device.home
10. Go to Gateway, then IP Settings
11. Then connect using Cingular
12. Then IP Address 199.176.84.11
13. User ID - Blank, Password - Blank, Data Mode - Conn oriented, Security -
off, Show Images - on, Response timer - 150

What's that Wireless Window Service?
Oh gosh! Here's the whole story.
I'm from Cyprus and we have Cyta here. (the number which I am supposed to enter where it says Phone Number in Data comm. is 90901600, like I put when I'm trying to connect on the Internet)
I went to a page and sent the IP Settings on a Profile with an SMS. But that didn't work (dunno why). Am I supposed to visit Cyta and pay for a different account so that I can connect with WAP? Or am I supposed to use my username/password which I connect from the PC to the Internet?

PLEASE HELP!

Hi,

I have a new t68i, and am on Cigular in LA. Of course no help from Cingular at all. I did all that Deltayoda says in his posting.

I seem to be getting a GPRS connection, but at device.home it just says "phone:" and "pin:". I put these in and get "login failed". I am signed up for Wireles Internet Express and opened an account at MyWireless Window.

They tell me I am in both data bases ... any sugestions?
