> fastport to t28 adapter?
Bookmark topic
Hi!
Once somewhere I read about a fastport to t28 (ie t610/k700/p910 port) adapter, so people could use the old accessories with the new phone. Does anybody nows more info about it? I have a M600 and I really lack the radio. But I have a HPR-20 headset which I might be able to use with this adapter.

And it seems the W900's headset doesnt work either... so currently there is no way to listen on FM radio on M600...

I think its unlikely that SE would provide support in a phone for accessories which use a different adaptor.
this probably explains why we don't see such adaptors

Another way to make you buy new accessories.

Btw, how hard would be to make such an adapter ourself?
I have spare DCU60 cable, so I have one end. I think getting a t28 connector can be done also (for example removing one from an old broken phone). The question is: is it enough to connect the corresponding pins (and if yes, which are the correspoding ones) or there is need for a chip as well (since the fastport I think works as an USB device, whilst the t28 as a serial device).
