Hey guys,
The only thing that i hate about the m600i is that when the phone is locked, the phone dims to black, and so everytime i want to check the time or see if i have a missed call or sms, i have to unlock the phone to check it.
Is there any way to have the phone locked, but only have the phones backlit turn off, and not fade to black so I can still see the time and missed calls etc?

you don't actually have to unlock the phone to see the time or if there are new text or missed calls.
if you touch a key or scroll the wheel you briefly get the message showing how to unlock, but then, while the screen is still lit, you can see any popup messages
its not instant but it only takes a moment of patience and unfortunately its all you have since you cannot do what you have asked
