Hi, I just bought P990i and it has chinese and the CDA version is /8
i know that i must get CDA version of 1/2 to make sure i can update with SEUS using "generic worldwide" as my current P990i is only able to update "generic SIngapore" software, the funny part is thta i don't even life in SIngapore and i don't want chinee character in my phone cause it disable the English EZtype
SO im planning to buy another sets cause my friend who bought in the same shop got the CDA /1 version which can only use UK english or US english only, no chinese, the very phone that i want.
So i want to buy another P990i but this time i want to make sure it has CDA ver 1/2 , but anther problem is in my country, i can't open the box before i pay,
if i open the box that 's mean i must buy the phone, and if i found the phone is still "Singapore" ver sion, i will be very sad
so i;'m asking all the expert wheter or not i can determine the CDA version by just the IMEI number ?
cause EMEI number is clearly printed on the box, so i can make sure thta i get the right phone this time, thx
any help would be very appreciateed
