hello everyone,
sorry I haven't been around for a while!
after I saw the idea of 'freecycle' I thought it wouldn't be as cheeky to ask this....and I'm sorry beforehand, as I know this will cause a couple of comments to me!
right - has anyone got an old laptop (P1/P2) that they do not use any more, that they will give to me free - I will pay for the shipping.

i forgot to give a reason! - tell me all specs i will probably except ALMOST anything, it's for a project (running linux on laptop - with as low spec as possible while having wi-fi) so pcmcia / usb would be nice....but i will think about taking anything

I MIGHT let my old laptop go, it's a Toshiba P133 running Win95, got PCMCIA slots but not USB, 2 or 3 Gb hdd I think, last time I used it the battery still lasted over an hour. Colour screen, FDD but no CD drive, problem is I don't think I've a box big enough to send it in. I'm not making any promises, but it's not being used and would be a shame for it to gather dust.
Might swap it for a phone if poss if you have a spare one gathering dust?
