> Help with P990i and PC suite

I have had my P990i for a few days now and i have only just tried connecting it to my PC via cradle and PC suite. I cannot get it to connect and the PC suite cannot find it, what am i doing wrong?
The SEUS can find the phone and when i plug the phone into the cradle the pop up window for the mem card appears but at the moment cannot back the phone up.
Any suggestions?

I have tried that even using a different USB port, I have tried everything i could think of just wondering whether anyone else has come across this problem?
I am using a laptop and i use to be able to connect my W800i fine.....if this makes any difference?

uninstall the DRIVERS and then uninstall the pc suite software, reset your comp then install the software again from the website

Am having the same problems and can't get the pc to see the cradled p990. I have tried reinstalling the drivers and the software 2 or 3 times. I've even down loaded the pc suite from the SE web Site...............Still doesn't see the phone. The only clue to the problem is when the phone is plugged in fresh after the reinstall, xp says you device has not installed correctly and may not work?
This is really starting to hack me off as I've waited along time for this phone. Is the phone bust or what? I used to run ps suite with my p900 with no problems.
Hope some one has the answer.

I had some problems with the cradle for p990, too. Never solved them, but figured out you don't really need it. Just plug the USB cable directly to the phone.
