> Opera Mini on P990i
Bookmark topic
Installed Opera mini and it works great with the exception of one problem. I get the message do I want to allow the midlet (something like that anyway) to run. I allow it for the session but when I load another internet page I get the same thing... and again... and again.
Is there a way to sort this problem?

If that is the case then it makes it unusable.

You might be able to change that in the setting...
Go to Control Panel/Security/MIDlet permission/Opera Mini...
See if that helps

some pages that have errors don't load on the p990' internal browser, but they do in opera mini

you must been doing something wrong...i only have to grant permission one time every time i load opera mini - that wonīt make it unusable!!!

not quite that my friend...i never found a page the normal opera canīt load

...IMHO, opera mini is good for:
FC browsing
right now, it uses less memory than normal Opera, so its easy to run it at the same time of some IM app (like mig33)

1) you cannot disable that question completely, because the midlet is not signed.
2) operemini is quite usefull though... for example in those cases when with the symbian version of opera you get the annoying 'XML parsing failed messages' (like when opening
http://www.se-nse.com)
Not to mention that opera mini makes much less traffic, hence much less to pay, much faster loading time.

if you have wifi, and you use only wifi (stockholm has many wifi hotspots), then for me it is fc mode usage and xml parsing error prevention.
