What video files actually work on the K800i? I've tried WMV, which surprisingly was recognised but didn't play, and several RM files, none of which worked.

You can play any video with the format xxxx.3gp or xxxx.mp4
Look at the resolution of the vids that came with the phone and the use a fab FREE encoder called "SUPER" to make them. Sorry no link.
