OK, well, some or most of you know I received a V3i from tmag2005 a couple weeks back and thanks very much to him!
With the D&G V3i released in an exclusive gold plated way I decided I was against the cheap one in the shops and wanted to recreate one without the expense of actually having it!
So I invested in CNN and bought some faceplates, lenses etc...

Over the course of an hour and a half I've transformed a common and dull looking V3i into the thing you see now.
There's one thing of which I could not achieve and that was to replace the lens on the outer screen but it's being taken to a phone shop tomorrow and it will be replaced.
So look away from the big gash and have a look elsewhere I'm mega pleased with this and all I could do with now would be the box and accessories from the non exclusive one and I'd have a keepsake llol

Anyway sorry for the boring life story, here are the pics!

Thanks everyone! And tmag... it's got a hefty price tag now

But anyway yeah I could've bought the Dolce and Gabbana housing but A) it was more expensive and B) I didnt want this V3i to be too inconspicuous

nice phone! you've done a good job there....i just wouldn't really fancy a phone like that myself lol! - does the v3i have an expansion slot???

the thing that put me off the v3 was....chantelle houghton (or however you spell her name...) advertising it...so it kinda like made it a truelly chavvy phone!!! sorry all you v3 owners...

also i wasn't too suprised when a whole load of people broke the flips within the first month or so. if you open and shut the flip about 5 times a minute constantly for 3 weeks....it's going to break!!! things like the flip mechanism on phones are only designed to work about 10,000 times! i'm tempted to try selling my v600i once unlocked in february, once i've fixed the covers to non-vodafone ones and flashed it properly (generic f/w).

p.s. sorry for going on....about nothing really to do with this...thread...
