Hey for years ive lived with this bug. Basically when i press shift and '@' i get ". this is vice versa for @. Also i get # instead of the pound sign which makes me have to put gbp on the end of prices. WTF is going on? Its really pissing me off now.

Not in XP, the setting is in 'control panel - regional and language settings' rather than 'control panel - keyboard' for some peculiar reason
Click start, then control panel, then regional and language settings.
Change everything you can find to 'UK' instead of 'US'. Make sure you click all of the tabs and buttons to make sure nothing ius left on 'US'

language and push the button details.
Remove US keyboard and add UK keyboard. That should do it.. Maybee its the other way and you have to remove UK and add US language..
