> W810 camera auto-focus: noisy lens
Bookmark topic
I'm probably being paranoid (you would be, too, with my luck) and/or I probably never noticed this before. When taking camera pics with the W810, and pressing the shutter button 1/2 way (to focus the picture's subject)... my phone makes a distinct "click-click" sound, like a relay being closed and opened. Is this normal?
Also, in very low light conditions, the camera refuses to focus at all, even in "night mode." Is this normal as well?

the clicking sound is normal, that's AF at work. tho i might have to hear it myself so i can decide if it's beyond normal limits
in low light conditions, the phone takes an excruciatingly long amount of time to focus because.. well, there's little light to focus with. put the torch on to assist
then again, the inability to focus + above-normal noise when focusing.. something else might be going on here. get someone else who has a w810/k750/w800 decide for you if your phone's normal

Around here, that would be nobody at all (stupid RAZRs

), hence the reason I posted.

I've had a few W800is and K750is that do make a kind of 'clicking' or 'moving' noise, this is perfectly normal unless it is louder than say the noise of autofocus beep. They've all made that noise, including my current W810i

Very well - it's just my paranoia getting the better of me
(Hey, you'd be crazy, too, after a bad S710a and a worse W810 before your current phone, and terrible service from

for both!)
