it would be nice if they let you enter in your own personal email settings then it get sent to the phone. Does anyone actually use their carriers email address?

I hate the dam email on this phone. it's starting to p me off. Whenever i try the email configurator on SE's naff site, it never gives me a passcode, it just goes to a blank screen. O2 are a waste of space too. I've been trying to set O2 email up on the K800I for about 5 weeks and still got nowhere

not sure what phone you have. i've got my o2 email working on my m600 by using the se site. i did have to change a few settings tho. i changed the o2 gprs settings so it doesn't use proxy and also added @o2.co.uk on to the end of all the usernames.

Hi, I have the SE K800I. Like i said, when i go through all the drop down boxes etc on the SE site and then click "submit" it just goes to a white screen and gives me no passcode which you need to enter into the phone to allow download of the settings. Also, could you tell me what you mean by turning off proxy? Thanks

Under Advanced settings there should be an option to not to use proxy - its just a setting within the internet acount.
strange problem your having with the SE site - i've never had a problem. So you do actually get the message on your phone - you just cant open it?
what browser are you using? is the screen you go to totally blank? i found that i had to scrole up to find the passcode but that was all.

ok i'll give it a go. I just use the standard Internet explorer to go onto the SE site. might try Scrolling though, see if it works
