I think SE shouldn't have made the P800 keypad the same as the R380... as handy as it is... the design is flawed in that if the digitizer becomes misaligned, your keystrokes will be off-center as well!

I think the P800 keypad should've been like the thumb-board of the Clie's... a hardwired keypad that fits over the touchscreen.

That way... JUST IN CASE the touch screen malfunctions... the keypad will actually be of some use... and for those who don't like using a touch screen... the keypad would've offered a more reliable input method.

As I've mentioned in previous posts, I used to have a R380 some time ago. I loved it and I actually regret getting rid of it. (If it had GPRS I would have kept it). One of the things I actually liked most about the R380 was the touchscreen keypad. I've never been a wizard on the T9 thing and this spesific keypad was my rescue in writing text messages and phone enties all in all. Personally it was a relief to me when I found uot that adopted this feature to the P800. Then again, as we all have seen quite a few times here in Esato now, it's a matter of taste.

Well for no appearent reason the right tab on my keypad that sets on the phone just broke off. I have no clue how, I just noticed it. So now the buttons don't work right cuz its not sitting on the screen right, so I have no choice but to loose the flip for now. Has anyone else had this problem?
