Okay, maybe "sux" is a strong word, but lets be serious here. It's a pricey phone and I really feel that SE have missed the target.
I had a k750 which I really enjoyed so I was bouncing off the walls with excitement for my k800 to come. I was quite let down!
Here are a few gripes that I have with my k800, some of which have been dsicussed here before;

- Mine didn't come with a memory card. The card was only available where I live about a month and a half after the phone came out here. Why not release them together? Dumb.

- No torch. Yes purists, I know it has a REAL FLASH. Big deal. I'll happily trade it for those handy bright LED things that turned out to be one of the phones best features. There is an app that lets you use the focus LED as a torch, but it's orange and quite dull.

- Back to the momory card. What's whith this micro card rubbish? The phone is an absolute brick compared to it's predecessor. Surely there is enough space to accomodate the well established and easily available DUO card? Now my large capacity card that I forked out for is of no use to me and I have to fiddle with this ridiculous thing that is smaller than my sim card and only goes up to 1 gig!

- The software on the phone has more bugs than a bait shop. This thing just crashes and crashes and crashes.
If I get a call while composing a text, the message is lost. Not even in the draft folder.
The walkman feature on the phone seems cut-down from the k750. No Mega bass!

- Battery life. I get about 2 days. There is no way you could ever convince me that is acceptable!

Ok, this particular phone I have is Vodafone branded - but that's besides the point. If you're going to put a product out there then do the reasearch. If a 3rd party is going to fiddle with your product, then make sure they do it properly. It's ultimately SE's name going down the toilet here.
Can they afford it with the stuff ups they have added to their portfolio lately? The laptop batteries, the delay of the PS3 etc.
Now they release a high end flagship phone that has clearly not had enough thought put into it.

Anyway, enough whinging.
SE - sort out the software on this thing! You're losing fans!

once upon a time Okay wasn't a word either:

"He believed the word to be short for any of several different spellings of "all correct", including "Oll Korrect", "Orl Korrect", and "Ole Kurreck". There was a fad in the 1830s and 1840s involving the intentional misspelling of common phrases, and referring to them by the resulting initials."

Words change, spellings change, AFAIK, "sux" is a legitimate colloquil spelling

wish that "sux" would be the only problem, but the facts he listed are far more serious imo

@Boba:

of course there is some strategy of SE with the memory card issue. But there are technical reasons and comparing the space the MS Pro Duo took in my old Z800 and the MS micro now in the K610...
Maybe there really is no space left in the K800. If there would they might have used it to reduce the overall size of the handset. Why didn't they?

@chunks

And for the max capacity: RIGHT NOW it is 1GByte, but 2GB is already anounced and the standard goes up to 32GB.

It was the same with MS Pro Duo: Everyone complained about the 512MB limit, just because the biggest one was 512 at that time. And now? We have 2GB.

I wasn't too happy with the format change, too, as I had a 1GB MS Pro duo for my Z800. I use it with my Sony Cybershot now.

About the torch: SE didn't promis a torch, it is named Xenon Flash and when I read that first I knew immediately that it is not usable as a torch.

I have an o2 k800 and it never crashes. The battery lasts for about 4 days and i am browsing the net on it for about 2 hours a day. I would have liked to have seen a supplied memory card but i got one thrown in with mine free anyway. If yours crashes a lot then i would pay it was faulty and would take it back to be repaired.
