Hello SE users
I come here with a big problem: after following the topsony guides "To write files MAIN and FS directly with Far Manager" my phone just died. When I try to turn it on, the screen will blink for one second every 6 seconds, and that's all it does.
Before I try to write MAIN and FS files, I made a complete backup ( erom main fs gdfs ) like here: http://www.se-tool.net/securi[....]ager_read_full_firmware_en.asp

and a backup only for GDFS like here: http://www.se-tool.net/security/download_FarManager_read_gdfs.asp
After the crash I try to restore the phone from this back-ups, but there is no change: it's still blinking.
Oh yes, I still can acces the phone memory with FAR and DCU-60 cable, but I don't know what to do

Sorry, mate. But you should'nt try that again! Those things are very risky! That is why i never even updated my k750i!(you're phone can die).My advice is:send an email to questions.XX(country internet code)@support.sonyericsson.com and explain sony ericsson your situation. That might help!

Thanks for advice, I allready did that. The answer was something like "We would like to suggest you to perform once more a software upgrade for your SE K750i mobile phone using the SEUS..... Alternatively, we suggest you to contact with one of the authorized Sony Ericsson Service Centers, located in:..."
But I hope for a more "technical" answer, at least from this forum. I'd like to have a program to see where the boot of the phone crash. or something like this...
I still wait for any suggestion.

Hi

Download davinci client 13.7 from top sony and get the firwmare files for k750 from topsony as well..Open davinci client select the main and fs files that u downloaded from top sony hit flash without the finalization box.

After the flashing is done download the custom files from topsony and using far manager paste it to tpa/preset/custom.

Acuallt last night when i was flashing my phone to R1DB001 the same white screen came falshing after falshing the phone.i reflashed it and the problem was gone

Give it a try

IT'S ALLLIIIIIVE!
Thank you all for you answers.
Look what I did: I re-flash it again (I know how to do it because this way I brought it to the 'dead' state) and I try to restore the full back-up (the one that is described here: http://www.se-tool.net/securi[....]ager_read_full_firmware_en.asp ). Still no succes.
Re-flash it again, with out the back-up: it works!
So, that back up procedure it's not valid (actually they say just how to back up, not how to restore, but I suppose I just have to reverse the procedure).
One more thing: davinci client it's not anymore the only solution! You can have the latest plug-in for FAR (SE_Flash_Plugin_0.10.0.44.rar) from here: http://www.se-tool.net/security/download_FarManager_SEFP.asp and follow this tutorial: http://www.se-tool.net/securi[....]nager_write_main_fs_raw_en.asp to write MAIN+FS with FAR Manager
