Actually NO. There is a fix for the walkman phones for their hissing noise problem, but you can apply that fix on your phone only if it is supported by FAR Maanager. FAR supports phone models like CID36 and below, but not the W810 too. It is CID49. Try updating your FW version via SEUS (Sony Ericsson Update Service) which you can download from the main Sony Ericsson web site. It is available for almost all newer SE phones. I've the W800i, and had the same problem with the hissing noise, but I've upgraded my firmware via SEUS, although my phone was supported by FAR and now the sound quality is much more better than before.

Yeah, there is currently no fix for hissing on the W810i. I have one of the white W810is and have been researching this particular problem for a couple of weeks now and there just isn't anything available to fix the problem. *sigh*
I'm hoping someone will be able to hack the CID49 phones and thus will enable FAR Manager to be used with the W810i, so that we can fix this hissing problem as others have done with hiss on the W800. *fingers crossed*
