I've seen a photo of a slider phone made from swivel W550i.
Do you know more about it? Who did it?

yea as i was going to say.. i've saw this previously on Esato.. but can't remember the name of the modder.. from the front view of the slider W550 looks great.. but on the back side.. a total mess! yea probably caused by the cutting and trimming of the cases to fit the slide steel

it was me, I got rid of it though and converted it back into a swivel, think it is a better idea to just buy the w850i...

well thankyou very much, but i think awful is too strong a word. It looked okay, it worked, maybe it wasn't perfect, but I don't really care. It was fun, while it lasted.

Thanks for your reply. I was very interested in this as I want to buy a W850i and it made me very sad that this won't be the first SE slider
I couldn't find the thread about changing W550i to a slider but I've already found it while searching through your posts... Thanks a lot!!!
