Well me and my girlfriend both got our k800i today (well hers yesterday)and within a hour they both completly died!!!
Awful phone when 2 can die on same day as each other. Mine just started doing random stuff like the 3G /battery icons vanished then it just went totally.
Girlfriends just was working 1 minute, had the "white screen of death" and they a total brick now!

Well hers has gone back but will give it ago with mine.
Is there any way to "force" SEUS to reapply the firmware? I know on my w800i you could update firmware even if it was the most resent version

Try either Da Vinci or Wotanserver and see if they detect the phone, that would be the first thing I'd try before doing anything else.
