> confusing battery status on k750i
Bookmark topic
I got a k750i 2 days ago and have only charged it once so far.
When I use the phone the battery load percentage in the status information is going down to lets say 35%. Now when I put the phone away for a while and check the battery status a bit later, it shows a higher percentage again (like 41%).
This up and down seems to be going on every time I use it and put it away again.
Is something wrong with my battery here?

Happens with loads of things like iPods to, it sometimes depends on what your doing on the phone, when im useing the loud speaker to play music on my w810i it sometimes shows im in orange battery but once i turn the walkman off it goes back to green,

it is a normal issue. the same happens to me, when i use my phone the battery decrease but when i leave idle it "recovers" some charge.

Sounds fine to me.
My K750I does exactly the same.
The more functions you use the quicker the battery % drops, Leave the phone alone & the battery % goes back up again slightly.

think you will find that the batt meter is an estimet of remaining power by doing maths with current charge
amount or V and I being used so its only estimating the remaining persentage as states change results change
think of it as an internet connection it may say 2.2Mbs but it veries from 0.01Kbs to 2.2Mbs bepending on usage and other veriables
veriables is the key word here it veries
hope this helps

Same here with my P900 batt. sometimes it quite substantial, especially with the mp4 player in full screen. After putting it away for a few batt pwer goes back up.

Perfectly normal, my W810i does it, my old W800i did it, various K750is I've fixed do it, including the one I have currently.
Just take the battery indicator as a rough estimate, don't pay too much heed of it's exact percentage as it does vary depending on usage.
Reminds me of the old T68i standby time and talktime estimates, which were wildly optimistic at best!
