Hi everybody!
I aquired this strange piece of hardware from a friend of mine, cause they were having a clean up in their office.. Could any one tell me what exactly it is? As far as I found out, its some kind of a scanner cause it has a laser device on top of it and it runs Pocket PC 2002 edition.
Is also has networking capabilities as AD-HOC and Infrastrcture mode. And an expantion slot for CF II cards and one 2,5mm jack on the side.It also has an Ir-DA transmitter on the back. If any one wants more pics, tell me...
PICS

Looks like the thing used by employes in car rentals to check the car after you return it.

hmm... dunno about phonecalls, although it has an earpice, a mic and a loudspeaker on the back... and it has Windows Media Player...

@axxr: well, the problem is that I dunno what cable to use to connect it to my lappy... On the back of the cradle that came with the unit, is a jack, much like a Ethernet jack.. i tried with a modem cable and a standard crossed UTP-5 cable, but nothing happened....
