> P990i voice dial problem
Bookmark topic
I have a P990i (latest firmware) and an Oakley O ROKR as a headset. I'm having problems with the voice dial features. When I press the call button on the O ROKR, the phone prompts "Speak after tone". However, after saying the voice command, the phone always prompts "No match found". Other than this problem, everything works just fine. I can receive and end calls using the call button. I can hear the other party clearly and vice versa. When listening to music, the play, fwd, and rev buttons work just fine and the sound is clear. The O ROKR supports both the handset and hands-free profiles and unlike the RAZRWIRE (BT 1.2), the it already has BT 2.0 and supports the A2DP profile. I haven't tried this with other BT headsets though so I'm not sure if it's just a limitation/problem of the O ROKR or the phone. Anyone have the same problem with the O ROKR or other BT headsets? Thanks!

you have to wait for the tone from the phone... sort of a high and low beep..
then speak just after..

I AM waiting for the tone... Sometimes it works, sometimes not. A phone reset helps but this is not normal.
