> problems ordering from orange
Bookmark topic
hi guys,
well im trying to order a new phone from orange online and everytime i get to te section to complete the order is says something like 'we regret to inform you that your application is unsuccessful at this time. if you would like to order your £2 credit report blah blah blah'......
the thing is, i dont have bad credit!!! i hardly even have any bills. i have never had any problems ordering from other networks either.
has anyone else had this problem with orange? or are they just really selective on who will be worthy of having an orange contract?
its frustrating.
im trying to order the se k610i, and i dont want the red one so im pretty much limited to orange and 3, but im not sure what 3 network is like. does anyone else know??

Have you phoned Orange to actually to discuss the problem before going elsewhere? I think that they are very selective when it comes to new contracts (unlike Vodafone and O2) so if there is any belmishes on your credit rating (even if you think there isn't - there might be) that'll be why.
Give them a call.

I personally wouldn't touch 3 with a bargepole, deals are quite impressive but they have a reputation which is only just (slowly) beginning to improve. Customer services (based abroad) are awful should you have any queries.
I'm sure there are others though who will tell you the opposite.

well i prob wouldnt go with them just because i dont know anything about them... just curious what they are like
by the way..... when i tried to order with orange the other day, it came up wth some thing saying they needed £5 to do some credit report and that it would be added to my bill... which i thought was a bit strange and so i didnt complete the other
now all the sudden they dont need £5 to check and just say i have bad credit

you do realise each time you try to get credit and are refused credit its damaging your credit rating!
