> k800i problems

hi, ive just got a new k800i, and yesterday i took the battery out to put a signal booster in(the wee antena) i put the battery back in and now the phone will not turn on. i took the signal booster out and still nothing. ive tried charging the phone, but nothing happens. when i try to turn the phone on a littler red light flashes in the infared port. can anyone help me. thanks.

If the red light's flashing, the battery is low. plug in the charger and make sure it's connected to the phone and is charging.
As for the stupid "signal booster" things... I don't understand why anyone would think that they could buy an add on that would be better than the aerial made by the phone manufacturer. SE etc must spend hundreds of thousands of pounds developing aerials to give the best reception and efficiency, so if it was that easy to "boost" surely they'd do it themselves?? Or at least offer their own booster?

its a wee piece of sticky plastic i got free with a memory card i bought. it has a metal design tht is supposed to boost your signal. i put one in anther phone of mine and it worked grand like, so i dont think that it was because of that. i just though id stick it on to see wether it does actually work. but that definatly isnt what caused the problem.

take it back as it is faulty. I had the same problem and i had a full battery. The phone is dead.

Exchange it, as it is a case for the "warrenty department".

And for signal boosters the only thing it boosts is the mfg's wallet.
