Well I just selled my W800 and I had the money to buy a w810 but for my surprise the M600 costs the same. So which do you recomend me to buy M600 or W810?

Well but I have some doubts:

How is the sound quality of M600?
Can I put a memory stick in M600, and if you can which type?
If they are micro memory sticks, is sony planinng to release more than 1gb?

Please answer..it is urgent

well i think if you like taking pictures, go for the w810i, but if you are crazy about music and have a touchscreen the M600 will be good for you. remmember that the M600 does not have a camera.

Well, I don't know you, don't how old you are, what you do (work or school), don't know what you expect from your next phone, so it's impossible for me, to recommend you one of these two phones.
Keep in mind though, that the M600i is a business phone, one you use for your work, not a "fun" phone. Plus, as you have had a W800i, you're going to miss the camera.
So, unless you need the M600i for your job, buy a W810i, it's much more fun.
Btw, the M600i uses M2 memory sticks.

Well, I am just 16 bu I really use the phone to entretain myself but the reasons tha are making me think of buying the M600 are that having word and power point might be useful, I dont need a camera, screen is much bigger and because my 2 gb mspd can still be useful for me because I own a PSP

When you think you're really going to use the extra options, the M600i has, it could be a good phone for you. It's a Symbian phone, this means more options, but it will be a bit slower sometimes and I still think, you're going to miss the camera.

Ive just got my M600i after 3 years with a T610, My 2 big issues with the M600i is the ringtones are no where near loud enough (if someone could make me or send me a real loud one I’d appreciate it) and the clock it’s so small you see it

Hi

I think we all need a software update for the M600i

current version:

Phone: CXC162037 R9EC001
Bluetooth: CXC162058 R3A01
Organizer: CXC162058 R5B02
CDA: CDA162011/1 R5B02

Bugs apart of the one you mentioned:
1-Unexpected crashes on contacts and message management.

2-Contact images become corrupted upon contact edition. They look crappy afterwards.

3-Contact lookup fails for some contacts aleatory. An existing contact calls me and I see his/her number instead of his/her picture and name. Of course I cannot restrict or prioritize any call if the phone is unable to lookup the number from the contact information. Once that happen for a certain contact, I could delete it, recreate it etc, but his/her number will never be looked up from contacts list again. Only a full phone master reset will help with all data loss along and unfortunately for a while only.

4-After phone master reset the standard themes coming from factory software are lost forever and only the default theme and language remain. I can only recover them by downloading (on my phone expenses) via GPRS/3G - WAP from Sony Ericsson site.

5-The automatic keypad lock does not always work. Sometimes it locks after 15 seconds of inactivity.

6-Voice control data is not save on backups. So lost for ever every time a master reset happens. No worth the lost time to get it programmed as it is lost on the way.

7-Synchronization with Outlook Express results on Mobile Phone being entered as Home Phone and by times on Work Phone (Using the same address book it makes no sense, does it?)

8-Backup does not work when software failures start (normally after some hours of last full phone setup) and so I cannot save my data before a master reset has to be done. Next setup has to be done manually again. That is my current and annoying situation.

Please help me to push Sony Ericsson and Symbian to resolve ASAP the bugs with a new software release. I have even contacted the management board at Sony. I hope to get answers and commitments.

Many of these bags were posted in summer last years and never fixed after few software releases. Hereby some links:

i dont know what you wanted to say with the previous post;you should have posted that on m600 firmware thread.
@author of this thread
m600 uses memory stick micro and already its availible 2GB cards.
m600 & w810 connectors are the same
