I have the mp3 handsfree and I havent tried this. I doubt it's gonna work cause mp3pros require special players...It will sound like playing mp3pros in winamp or in any other mp3 but no mp3pro player...

well that's right
but winamp has a special ini (or dll) which you have to place in winamp manualy and allows it to play mp3pro
why not upgrading t65 or hpm-10 so that it has the decoder in it
if there can be tha codec in the phone then it is very easy, if not then the hpm10 must be opened (somehow) and then add a new codec

The phone has no codecs... that one is for sure. It is in the player...
practically it is a small mp3 encoding chip wich the phone uses.
But if the mp3 player doesnt support mp3 pro.. i may support VBR.. has anyone tried that ?
Cheers
