Help! i want to update my firmware to newest firmware...
i tried it but it doesn't update.. it says i have already the latest firmware.
i followed the instructions .. and it was successful
but i think it did not updated my firmware , it did not changed anything,
my firmware is:
PHONE: CXC162037 R4A002
BT: CXC162058 R3A01
ORG : CXC162095 R3A06
CDA: CDA162011/8 R3A03
is that the latest firmware as of September 26,2006.
pls help what is the latest firmware and how to update this very sensitive m600i phone of mine.

just one quick question what network is your phone on or is it sim free as in no network branding, as the only only reason i can think for you not being able to update is if it comes from a network who has not as yet approved the update otherwise it makes no sense.

it has not branded.. it's open line. i can use any sim.. i'm trying to reflash my phone right now . i reinstalled the update software.. wish me luck.

oh btw, i had an error regarding usb drivers it says the device may not work properly? but i think it's normal on m600..
any idea guys why can't i upgrade my phone's firmware?? help pls..!! i'm going nuts here!! crazy as hell!

It's R9A002 the latest. But I think you should try a service centre rather than SEUS. They can flash your phone anyway no matterwhat you have on your phone.

waah, i want to do it free because i'm sure they will upgrade my firmware but i'll have to pay them and its expensive. :C

@drich - just because a phone is not uk cda doesn't mean that it has qwertz.
i can't upgrade my phone either. there's no branding or network locks here in the UAE(absolutely sim-free) but SEUS says it has the latest version. My phone is obviously not from the uk but is set with qwerty keyboard.
I believe that the upgrade from SEUS for the mid east region is yet to be released probably in a few days/weeks time.
Went to my service centre however they couldn't confirm whether they have the latest version since emma servers doesn't post the firmware version until the update is finished(that's what the technician said). i didn't want to wait for a an hour without a phone then later find out that my firmware was flashed with the same version that i had and lose all my phone's contents(mac and m600 doesn't get along with each other).
