Hello.

Parents are tired of Siemens now, and want to switch to Sony Ericsson, but not the most expensive model. I would recommend the K510, IF the screen quality is ok.
So, how is the quality compared to the J300 and the W800?
I know (from my own J300) that the J300 has a very blurry display, and that's not good enough.
I know (from my own W800) that the W800 has a very nice display, sharp'n'crispy, updates fast.

Resolution of 128x160 of the K510 is fine. When I'm asking about quality I don't mean resolution. I mean how sharp and how fast it updates, like for gaming. It is important the screen is fast enough for gaming. (Yes, I have parents that plays games on their phone).

Can anyone tell me if the screen quality matches the W800? Or if you think it's good enough for gaming? Like, if you play Sort'em (our own game: www.lublu.dk/sortem.php), does the balls appear like blurry colors, or can you actually see the round shape of them?

If you have a better suggestion to which model they should buy (both of them), in that price-range, please lemme know also. But the K510 is cheap at the moment here.

Thanks.

Hi, i have bought K510i recently, and what i can say about the screen, that it is really not bad, only one disadvantage - the resolution. 128*160 is not enough to use all 242k colors, even if it can view them. you said that resolution is not important, but in that case, it really is. one more think - it is much easyer to get games for 176*220 resolution screens, as my phone doesn't show all the playground, only part of it, and it doesn't matter how i adjust the screen size of the application. i would really advice to get at least k610, or other newer model with 176*220 resolution and 242k colors.
if you still want to get k510i's - the screen refresh rate is really good, the screen is bright, so, there is not a big problem to read a message, even on sunny day.
in conclusion - the resolution is the only disadvantage, and if it would be 176*220 in stead of 128*160, gaming experience would be much better
as both resolution screens are of the same size, only the one woth 176*220 has smaller pixels, so, the image quality is sharper

P.S. sorry for mistakes, english is not ,my mother-tongue
