Just looked at my phone and it was showing the incorrect Sim - insert another SIM or view demo screen.
Must have restarted itself then decided it didn't like my SIM...
Seems to be back to normal after a restart though...

Maybe your SIM is quite an old and/or damaged.

Make sure your battery cover is secure, i had a similar problem with my k800i, it was saying "inactive sim" did that 2 times and i also realised my battery cover was making alot of squeaking noise so i took off the battery cover then put it back on then the squeaky noise wen't then my phone was ok again, NO "inactive sim" anymore.

When the "inactive sim" is replaced with you network name that means that your subscription with your service provider isn't activated.

when i first got my k800 i had the same experience after inserting my sim, it worked for a few hours then i got the "inactive sim" message from my phone. I tried inserting another sim to the same phone and still got the same message. so i brought it back to where i bought the phone, they replaced it, no questions asked...
