Orange do a student contract ( yuo need an NUS card)

£15 a month, 1000 texts and something else, can't remember you'll need to check it out.

There are LOADS of deals about, but the average good service contract will range between 25-45 quid.
T-mobile do an awesome value tariff called "Flext 35"
Its £35 a month for £180 of credit allowance.
That can work out as 1800txts or 900mins,
I know several students on this tariff and it more than caters for their heavy social life and stuff,

p.s dont go for any redemption deals.
