Does anyone know if the phone will be able to play Divx files?
In fact, can anyone list out the type of movie and audio files that can be played on the device?

mp4 AVC is the best IMO (allways dependant on bit rate)

Even though it does not play DivX-files, converting divx's to MP4 for use on the P990 is a quick fix. The quality of the P990 video playback is simply stunning, I use SUPER encoding software with video bitrate 480kbps, 25fps, 320*240, and 64kbps for audio. You can lower the video-rate for less intensive videos, like Family Guy and alike. Currently watching the entire Season 5 of 24 on my P990, NICE!!

@mario2004
The UIQ 3 doesn't have much software for now because its obivious that it's new compare to N70. Why do you have to install a divx if you can convert it to mp4 to save space for the divx program.

If I remember right, SE was trumpeting all over the place about software been developed for the 'new OS' and the delay was partly because of that. I did point out in december that no company will invest in software for a non existent device and quite a few SE supporters 'shot me down'. How right I was . . .
