Hi All,
I want to make a load of contact pics at home on my pc and then assign them to different contacts on the phone, does anyone know the correct dimensions?

I emailed that question to SE a while back and the response i got said there was no specific dimensions for contact pics, however in the pictures folder of the phone there is a preinstalled "default" type contact picture with dimensions of 176x144. Gotta assume they made it the right size i reckon, tho i've not tried it.

Don't think it makes a lot of odds, phone'l adjust accordingly. I got the full 3mp pix as some contacts. Thing i'd suggest is a folder for all contact pix to go in, and store on phone. I didn't and all contact {200} pix and tones were undone when i took out memory card.

Ouch no one wants that
I was planning to keep games / ringtones etc. onboard and cam pics / music on the 1/2 gig stick so should be ok there.
Thanks both of you - all I need to do is make sure they don't know which pics I gave them - an old friend got annoyed when he discovered his specific ringtone was YMCA . . . .
