Hi all,
I recently came by a site with a tutorial on how to make the camera shutter sound only when the phone is not in silent mode by editing an xml file in de flash memory with FAR manager. But the site said the phone needs a master reset or a settings reset for th trick to work. Now as I don't want to lose my settings, text messages, etc, I would like to be able to backup all the settings to be able to do a settings reset.
Is backing up the whole 'FS' directory and replacing it after the settings reset enough to make sure I don't lose anything (my purpose is to not even be able to see I did a settings reset) AND activating this trick then ?
