Are those editions of already released phones with different connectivity features? Dont think SE wants to do anything revolutionary, or maybe, they just dont know what to do after they saw the N95.

even with z558 can write on the screen...it is still only a refresh z550
with a touch screen and a stylus added
and all this phone is focusing to China and SE Asia market.
Z550a is of course for USA
only hope is...the best is meant for the big day...but i doubt it...coz I never seen any new product launching on Sunday before.
maybe 2nd Oct......if nothing is out...meaning tht's all the product SE have and it seem more obvious tht have a lot of mid to low end phone but very limited high end phone with advance features.

oh well let get over with the grim and hope they still have something in their drawer to throw out.
Maybe their CEO should develope the same charisma like Steve Jobs and always wear jeans or Docker's khakis (the one with lots of hidden pocket)
so when his speech ends...he can start showing off new gadget
best...make Steve Jobs CEO of Sony!!! Then make him the Chief Innovation Officer for Sony and SonyEricsson.....but maybe he will need to where a backpack everytime he got a speech hahaha

Right now we have top end business and Music phones but no top end imaging handset - thats whats missing and its needed desperately. Like has been said, lots of activity with cheaper phones and more clamshells.

decided to invest in one technology for line and thats it. It cannot produce all-in-one high tech devives in every line with one feature specialized but the rest still high tech, like nokia does. Its cheaper this way and it attracts a large number of people because of sony´s brands. I find it kinda disappointing. If I wanted a specialized device i would have bought an ipod and not a W800i.
decided to produce low to mid end phones and stay in that level. Perhaps in the future if
´s marketshare grows consistently it might have more money to produce various high end phones to compete with the ones from nokia. However, till then, nokia has the best phones in the market, period. (not considering personal preferences)
