I can't seem to find the return key in phone closed mode. By that I mean I write a messge and I want to hit return/enter to go down a couple of lines and type more, but I can't seem to find that key. I have to FO mode to do that. Anyone know how to do this?

To be honest I dont think that there's a key or button with the same funcationality as the return key in FC mode cause the navigation key jumps to the next field, u'll have to continue to open the flip

Well that stinks. At least in Series 60, under the symbols menu there is a return key. Hope this is fixed in Firmware upgrade......................by the way when is this supposed upgrade

i had the same issue with my p910. there is no return icon when using pridictive text in flip closed.
but there is if you switch to multitap - not sure if it will be the same on the p990?
i think i had to press # 3 times or something? good luck

Mobman, thanx for the tip and you're right it's only available by pressing the '#' key in multitap mode I can't seem to find it in the predictive mode. It's ok for composing an sms but the return key is quite essential while composing email

Mobman....thanks. I was killing myself trying to figure this one out. Still a poor implementation as I have to turn off predictive text to do this, but at least I can skip down lines now.

SE should change this in a future firmware upgrade. it should be a simple mod since the return icon does exsist - bad news is that they never got round to fixing it on the p910.
