Evening folks,

I've just gone and bought a w800i on orange, i like it.. anyhow, for some reason i dont see any options whatsoever about text messages, Write New menu doesnt include anything for texts, just picture messages and emails.. and in message settings nothing for text messages..

Its on the R1N035 firmware version.. i have 2 logs/credits with DaVinci Team, is there anything in particular i could use them on? (i bought them a while ago when i had a k750i which turned out to be stolen, so i sent it back.. ebay :/ ) this is my first SE phone since..

Thanks!

Thats odd. I know I get more options when I put in my o2 sim in messaging than my tmobile.

if u have the credits you may as well upgrade; R1n035 is old. R1BC002 is latest. Also R1n will not allow transfers to the phone through usb (or rather have the files on the phone when copied but when taken out ; the files will not be there.

The text messaing option is since appeared, have an update text from orange.. phew!

As for the upgrade thing, do you have any resources for this specific phone? preferably an updated one? I dont want to break it already!

Thanks!

ouch.

What happened when upgrading? I know seus is bricking phones at the moment. I assumed you would use ur davinci credit. Oh yeah stupid question but you did take the battery out after upgrading right?

Use http://www.se-tool.net/security/soft/Davinci_13.7.zip and press the cid button. If the phone is recognised then you are in luck.
If not its time for a service cable and a-v0id's great:

Thats good. Have fun with the W800. I bought my k750 2 months ago and I love it.
