What are you trying to do? Create music or mix it?
TRAKTOR is a great application for mixing mp3's, it includes pitch control and can assist in syncing beats.
REASON on the other hand is an all in one studio.

Dont be under the impression that becuase you can use dedicated music applications your a DJ - the features included in programmes such as attomix and tracktor takes the talent out of mixing, many many many people try to use the "auto mix" feature and which makes the app beatmatch the tracks. Rubbish!

Wanna be considered a DJ, get decks and practice!

Fruity Loops creates loops believe it or not (hint in the name) this is for producers - people who build a track from scratch or take a midi file to create remixes etc. soundforge and acid pro is best for creating bootlegs and track manipulation - neither one good for actual mixing, unless your highly skilled with the app and have a good ear for matching the bpm's - which you can only get by practice with real decks.

Guys i av got virtual dj automix its cool. And i also av a software like trackor or traktor dj im nt sure if tats wat ur talkn abt il av to find tat cd and make sure if tats the one. So wats decks? Is it a real mixer u're talkn abt? Man i guez its way to expensive fa start since im new to all this?
