Ive just bought a new £700 state-of-the-art gaming machine specifically for gaming and what do i find out?

5mins into EVERY game i have the machine locks up and needs to be re-booted. This is extremely annoying since ive spent so much on it yet it wont do what i need.

The specs are:
3.4 Pentium D Dual Core
2GB RAM
WinFast PX7950GT TDH
160GB Sata Hard-drive.

Anyone know what may be going on because i need to sort this out!

is it just games it locks up under ? if so are you running the latest drivers for your graphics card if so have a search on the web for any problems associated with those driver, i know some nvidia drivers that were released recently have been causing some problems with certian games.

just as an aside is your power supply capable of running your rig ie your not using a 300w one or anything.

Ma case has 4 huge fans in it so i dnt thnk its overheating.
Im using a 600W PSU, so it's definately getting enough power.

The odd thing is that nvidia wont detect my graphics card and the WinFast website sucks and has no working drivers on it.
