Just got the new 990i, but need to synchronize my old P910i with PC (Windows XP) to be able to transfer calender, Contacts, etc.
Cannot get the old P910i to synchronize. Downloaded lastest PC suite, +driver and get USB cable connection ok. Phone is reconised. however when running PC Suite for synchronize only got dropdown option for Contacts. (Other calender, tasks, etc, blank/grayed-out. Even when run for Contacts did not work.
Default email is set for Outlook. Uninstalled and reinstalled many times with no joy.
Is there a way in Windows to force the Control panel/internet settings/program box to allow outlook to be selected in addition to just under email?
Not sure if it is this or somethingelse. Any help appreciated.

I remember simply sending my contacts via infrared to the P990 directly from my P910.

Thanks adhussain.
I have now managed to transfer my Contacts from my old P910i to my new P990i via Bluetooth.
However cannot find anyway to get the Calender, Tasks, etc onto the P990i.
Anyone know a way, assuming synchronisation does not work?

If you have outlook you can try the long but assured way:

1. install the SE PC Suite 3.1.1.

2. Sync contacts, tasks and calender with outlook

3. Uninstall PC Suite

4. Reinstall the PC Suite for Smartphones

5.Sync (make sure u remember to select overwrite phone data & not the other way)

Sign up for a (free) account at www.mobical.net. Upload your calendar and task list to Mobical's server using the Remote Sync (SyncML) app on your P910i, then simply download your data from Mobical to your P990 using the P990's SyncML app.
