No such thing has been reported officially at any of the SE Customer Care Centres, checked BeNeLux, Germany, France and UK.

The phone is available in most parts of Europe already and all countries in Europe (with some exception) use 900MHz E-A5/1 as "base net" in GSM. And then 1800MHz E-A5/1 is just a "capacity booster" on top of the "base net". So if it works in Sweden, Germany, Denmark and so on, it will also work in the UK.

I don't understand what you are on about!
Ive had the T300 right here in the UK since this morning (kindly sent by CPW) Iam using my Virgin & O2 sims & seems to work fine!
The only thing buging me is the fiddly joysick!!!!!
What was wrong with the T68 joysick SonyEricsson!!!!!
games, the design & poly. ringtones are out of this world though
