Even though I have to say tha I am a huge fun of SONY AND SE I think that they are getting crazy with the prices of memory sticks, the 8 gb pro duo is gonna cost aprox. $525 dollars wich I think is crazy, you can buy 2 iPOD videos for the price of the memory stick.
I think that if SONY does not lower the price of memory sticks....they will never be able to really compete to iPOD
what do you thnk?

I picked up a 2gb card and sweet little card reader on ebay 4 months ago for £33. I think that was a great price.. Hoping that the 8gb card which as i understand isn't yet released will be cheap, is unreasonable. All storage devices be it hard drives, DVD, blu ray.. etc.. and memory is always expensive for the top of the range. The upside should be that the 8gb card will drive down the prices of the smaller cards. Soon you'll wonder what the fuss was.. The 1/2 gb card i got with my phone was expensive when it came out, now it lies in my room gathering dust, as its basically worthless..
