but does not it add bulkines to the phone when pluged in, i mean you cant carry your phone with that thing plugged in all the time, but the event of frequently taking in and out of the socker will eventually screw up the charging port on the phone, i guess it might be more trouble than fun... imo,

that is not what i meant,
tell me this, if you get it, would you plug you phone into it and cary around assembled like that on a key ring? if yes i have nothing to say.
but the normal usage the way i see it would be clip the torch in when you need it, after you are done using it, take it out and put on your key chain into your pocket or whatever, but if the second type of usage applies, such frequent pluging and unpluging will obviously lead to the mulfnctioning of the charging interface on the bottom of the phone, so that is what i meant before....

Firstly, its not an infrared devise.

Second, what MDS meant to drive on was that using the torch on the socket frequnetly would loosen the charging port of your cell phone. point is taken that you really do not have to plug it in your phone everytime. but frequent use would screw your unit.

I use a blue-led torch. its smaller, less bulky, and seem to be as nifty in functionality as the blue torch of SE.
