But say i do it and then never ever sync emails ; would the fact that I sync other stuff add it again ?

it shouldn't do. if its like the 910 you get options on what gets sync'd, i only ever sync contacts and calender.

i used to hav this problem.. got rid of it by master reset.. remember to back up be4 u reset..

if you want to prevent the "synced mail" item from appearing, dont touch the "Device Management" item in your control panel...
