does anyone know if ya can change the keypad backlight colour, if so how?
not too keep on the lilac colour lol

Open your phone up, eat a sweet from Quality Streets and put the wrapper behind the keypad. Put the phone back together... There you go, different colour lighting

Unless of course you have the resources and ability to make your own keypad light, which I assume you don't.

Lets be gentle on our friend. After all, the white backlight that SE seem to have adopted is a bit lame. I remember how blue the backlight on the T68i was.... it was a thing of beauty!

I changed the backlight on my K700i by simply putting a peice of coloured plastic (plastic bag type material) underneath the keys. The keys press ok and when the light shines through it is a different colour! I reckon the K800i would work in pretty much the same way.

@mp3wiz: nope. it's not possible to change the backlight color on the k800i; unless of course you change the LEDs yourself. this will void the warranty though. in my opinion it's not really worth it.
@QVGA: there were motorola mobile phones before that had the option to change the backlight color. i think SONY also offered this feature on at least one of their mobiles
