You should be looking at the Nokia 7710, now that did compete with the SE P910 when it was released in Dec 04/Jan 05. Super high res screen and good hand writing recognition etc

1st of all again size come into the equasion!
secondly. i work in the CPW in UK, guess how many i managed to sell.... NONE!
how many people have you seen carrying one! if it was a success Nokia wouldnt try 6708 out!

N95 although a good phone still lacks as a P990i competitor in my opinion,having overblown features doesn't add quality and class to the device which the N95 sadly lacks aswell as the sub standard design,P990i on the other is miles ahead in design stakes...So basically you have to consider all the factors.
