My W550i has been returned to me as uneconomical repair (condensation damage on the main board) so I was thinking of buying another broken one off ebay, there is plenty about for cheap.
But, im guessing that some of these are probably blacklisted so was just worrying, if i took the main board out of one of these and stuck it in my W550i, would it be black listed too? I dunno how it works, is the IMEI stored to the main board? Or the ariel?
Any help would be welcome!

In the mainboard, no worries about a blocked PCB messing the rest of ur phone up. Main worry for me would be a software problem like white screen of death or something like that.
